Terms of service
The rules for using EconAce, what the service does and does not promise, and who owns the questions.
Last updated 28 August 2026
Agreement
By using EconAce you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may hold one account, and you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account.
What the service is
EconAce provides practice multiple-choice questions for Cambridge International AS & A Level Economics 9708, arranged as 20 levels — 10 for AS Level and 10 for A Level. Each attempt draws 30 questions at random from a larger pool for that level.
About the questions
Every question on this service is original, written against the published 9708 syllabus and styled on the format of the multiple-choice papers. They are not reproductions of past examination papers. Cambridge does not license past paper content for electronic republication, and we do not reproduce it.
We take care over accuracy, but we do not warrant that every question, answer or explanation is free of error. If you think something is wrong, please tell us — corrections are welcome and we act on them.
Practising here does not guarantee any particular examination result. Nothing on this service is a substitute for your syllabus, your teacher or the official Cambridge materials.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or redistribute the question bank, in whole or in part
- attempt to obtain answers other than by answering questions in the normal way
- interfere with the service, its security, or other users' accounts
- submit anything unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading through the contact form
- use automated means to create accounts or inflate scores
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, and we may remove leaderboard entries that were not honestly earned.
Leaderboards
Leaderboard placings are provided for interest. We may recalculate, correct or remove entries where a score was not genuinely achieved, where a question is found to be faulty, or where the ranking rules change. You can withdraw from the public boards at any time in your profile.
Ownership
The questions, explanations, diagrams, design and software are owned by the EconAce team and protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study. You may not republish them or build a competing service from them.
You keep ownership of anything you send us. By sending it you allow us to use it to run and improve the service.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may end the service, giving reasonable notice where we can.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for examination results, lost study time, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending your use
You may close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, liability and governing law — do so.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
